Mission

We envision Dance with DANCE DALE to provide support for the community with uplifting activities, opportunities for joyful present moment engagement, providing excellence in educational, cultural and recreational experiences. We will provide opportunities for connecting with art, nature, music, dance, and other positive activities, while celebrating creativity, diversity and holistic education through movements as a medium.

VISION

Every student learns in a different way, has their own strengths within dance. Some possess the ability to be a performer, some create movements,some works on the aesthetic of the performance, and some on lights and audio.
This club helps you grow and develop a profile within your personal capacities and affinities as a performing artist with his/her own strengths and signature.

STRATEGIES AND GOALS

Grade 3 - 5

  • Global dance forms videos are shown which creates a mental preparation about the dance form
  • Introduction to old school and hence its origin and foundations for beginner and intermediate level is learned.
  • Individual showcase is done to increase the confidence of the students
  • Warm up sessions conducted by students to get rid of the stage fear and increase their confidence to present before everyone
  • Origin of the house dance style,foundations,and advancement is learned

OBJECTIVES

  • Movements of arms and legs movements simultaneously
  • Better control of body and body posture for old school dance is obtained
  • Movements of body parts In a rhythmic pattern
  • Stamina and little body control is obtained
  • Quick reflex of body parts especially lower body
  • Body control is obtained with reduced sloppy ness

Grade 6 - 8

  • Pair up sessions develops good inter-personal relationship between each student
  • Grouping sessions by the students builds the qualities of team building and crew disciplines
  • Freestyle battle for students increases the vibes towards dance and builds a healthy competitiveness among them
  • Origin of the locking style,foundations,and advancement is learned
  • A introduction to applications which is used for audio and video editing

OBJECTIVES

  • Learns the different levels , postures and sharp movements
  • Able to distinguish the levels and profiles in locking dance form
  • Groovy moves which connects both upper and lower body
  • Synchronisation of hand and leg movements
  • Popping hits helps to learn muscle control and provides endurance to arm and calf muscles
  • Smooth transition between steps of different levels
  • An idea on audio and video editing is developed

GRADE 9

  • Cypher sessions for the students helps to showcases their ability and inspire their classmates
  • Origin of the krump style,foundations,and advancement is learned
  • Students are asked to edit sound tracks for performances and technical knowledge is given
